Abstract (EN)
In this study, descriptive research method has been used and the study consists of; first, second and third sections and conclusion part. Some kind of information about renewable (alternative) energy sources has been mentioned in appendix part. Definitions of social sciences and social studies concepts were given in introduction part. Also in this part, situation of renewable (alternative) energy in social studies curriculums and importance of renewable (alternative) energy education in social studies teaching was related; problem has been defined; bottom problems, importance, scope and limited of this research has been given. In second section, method of this study has been completely defined. In third section, energy, energy sources and its derivatives have been explaned. In fourth section, it's been prepared a unity plan to suggest social studies curriculum. Offering a suggestion toward future of Turkish education system on social studies teaching about renewable energy area which owes increasing importance in the changing world is the purpose of this study.
