The investigation of the aims of the students? of the second part of primary schools using internet, for some of their demographic properties and the perceived social support levels

The prediction of some independent variabities (the level of social supportthey can get from their families, teachers and friends, the sex, the level of class andsuccess) which are thought to relate using the internet for fun and not using theinternet for fun is searched in this research. Beside this, the time which the studentsspend on internet in point of the aims of using internet and the level of social supportare searched. In addition to this, it is seached that how the sites which the studentsvisit mostly bound to the usage aim of the internet differentiate.The students who attend all the second part of primary schools in Çayırhanand Nallıhan in Ankara constitute this research. The students who are from the sametown and district constitute the sample of this research. The analysises are done onthe computer with using the packet programs of Pc Give 10.4 and SPSS 13 and errorportion is thought as .05 in the research.In this research, while it isn?t found a meaningful relationship between thetime which the students who use the internet for fun spend and the level of socialsupport they get, it is found a meaningful relationship between the time whichstudents who don?t use the internet for fun spend and the level of social support theyget. A meaningful relationship isn?t determined between the students social supportlevel which they get from their families, friends, teachers and using the academicalsucces and internet for fun or for the aims without fun. A meaningful relationship isfound between the students sexes, class level and using the internet for fun or forother aims. It is found that male students use the internet much more for fun thanfemale students, when the students pass the next classes using the internet for fundecreases.It is seen that the sites which the students visit differentiate according to aimsof using internet. It is appeared meaningfully that the students who don?t use internetfor fun visit the homework sites much more, play games a little and visit the chatsites a little according to the students who use internet for fun
