Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to analyse cyberbullying/cybervictimization, is spreading day by day as a universal problem in our age currently, in terms of psychological symptoms. This research was carried on according to relational scanning model is a kind of general scanning model. Dependent variables of the research are cyberbullying/cybervictimization and independent variables of the research are psychological symptoms, gender and level of class. The field of research is in Istanbul, Izmit and Sakarya city. The sample survey of research was implemented on four school schools. For two school in Istanbul, for one school in Izmit and for one school in Sakarya. 407 secondary school students took part in this research. Of the participants 192 were female and 215 were were male. Short Symptom Inventory developed by Deregotis in 1992 and adapted to Turkey by Şahin and Durak in 1994 and Cyberbullying/Victim Scale (developed by Ayas and Horzum in 2010) were used in this research.The regression analysis was done to analyse the relationship between the psychological symptom and cyberbullying/cybervictimization. t-test was used to indicate the differences between gender and cyberbullying/cybervictimization. On the other hand ANOVA test was used to indicate the differences between the level of class and cyberbullying/cybervictimization.According to getting result from the research, there are positive, satandart level and meaningful relations between psychological saymptoms and cyberbullying/cybervictimization of males are higher than females.Therefore, the results of analysis in this research shows that the cyberbullying/cybervictimization differentiated only in relation to gender and did not differentiate related to level of class.Keywords: Psyclogical symptoms, cyberbullying, cybervictimization.
