Investigating negligence with various variables and abuse connected with children at second stage in primary school.

In this study, the connection between in Primary School at second grade students? emotional abuse, physical abuse, negligence, economic abuse degrees with aggressiveness, self esteem and depression degrees was investigated. In addition to, abuse and negligence degrees according to demographic variables were evalvated.Basıc main investigating expectation will be interaction between abuse and negligence degree with aggressiveness, self esteem and depression. Also, ıt was thought that meaningful differences will appear between abuse and negligence degree with demographic variables. For researching; Child Abuse Diagnose Questionnaire- Scanning Form (Oral ve ?nanıcı, 2004), Aggression Scale (Sears, 1961), Rosenberg Self ? Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965), Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI; Derogatis, 1992) and Personal Information Form were applied. 655 students ( 315 female and 345 male ) were random selected education school in the centre of Sakarya city, Ferizli and Kocaali district and Çaybası village were participated in the study. The analysis of datum is with T test, The Analysis Of Anova and The B Test Of Tukey were done.The conclusion of researching; the positive relation was founded between emotional abuse and physical abuse also between physical abuse, negligence and economic abuse with depression but the negative relation was founded between abuse and negligence degree with aggressiveness and self ? esteem. In addition to, meaningful differences were determined between demographic variables with abuse and negligence degree. This study showed that there is a meaningful relation between abuse with negligence degree and depression. Besides, ıt was determined that demographic features for child abuse and negligence which are between risk factors. At the end, the limitations of researching, the discussion related with conclusions of researching and suggestions for other researching were discussed.
