Analyzing the relationship between online classroom management proficiencies and technological proficiencies of teachers working in primary education institutions

In this research, it is aimed to analyze the relationship between online classroom management competencies and technological competencies of teachers working in primary education institutions (primary and secondary school levels). The research was designed with correlational design. The population of the research consists of teachers working in primary education institutions in Turkey. As the accessible universe, 4315 teachers working in primary and secondary schools in Odunpazarı and Tepebaşı, the central districts of Eskişehir, were determined. The sample of the study consists of 719 (EFA stage: 310; CFA stage: 409) teachers selected from this population by the proportional stratified sampling method, one of the random sampling methods. The data of the research were collected with the Online Classroom Management Proficiencies Scale of Teachers developed within the scope of this study and the Technology Proficiency Self-Assessments of Teachers Scale Becoming Professional in the 21st Century adapted to Turkish by Fidan, Debbağ and Çukurbaşı (2020).The data obtained during this research were analyzed using the JASP 0.17 statistical program. Analysis of the research data was carried out using descriptive statistical methods, independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA analysis and correlation analysis methods. As a result of the research; it has been determined that there is a moderate and positive significant relationship between online classroom management proficiencies and technological proficiencies of teachers working in primary education institutions.
