Examination of family values of the theachers who do duty at primary school instituation (The model of Istanbul province Europa side )

In this research, it has been tried to be determined the family values perceptions of teachers.The research is made up of five main sections which are Introduction, Related Literature, Methods, Results, Conclusion and Recommendation.On literature part, the area scan has been practiced for subject of sub-dimensions such as family, values and family values.The class and branch teachers who function in the official primary school in Küçükçekmece, Başakşehir, Bakırköy which are determined by the method of layers the European side of İstanbul, in 2008-2009 academic year have constituted universal of research.The official schools that teachers work are determined by the method of clustering. Survey work has been performed for totally 233 persons which are 107 women and 126 men. It has been used Scale for Family Values (SFV) and an information form consisting of fourteen items.For analysis of data,one-way analysis of varience (ANOVA) post?hoc scheffe and LSD tests have been applied.Level of significance has been tested minimum 0.5, also indicated the level of other significance and findings, in accordance with the purposes of research, have been presented in the case statements. In the research, family values perceptions, have been tested according to family values scale sub-dimensions.Teachers perspective on family values have been examined according to their age, gender, Professional seriority, marital status, work style, partner status and consequences have been found. As a result of this, among genders, significant differences have been emerged.
