Class teachers i̇n pri̇mary schools of the ci̇ty i̇nspectors of educati̇on i̇nspecti̇on opi̇ni̇ons regardi̇ng the lesson

The aim of this study is to determine the ideas of the classroom teachers about the lesson inspections performed by the city education inspectors. Whether thera are any logical relationships among the demographic variables such as the application of lesson inspection, the counselling and vocational assistance, the ideas of the teachers on the behaviour of the inspectors, the sex, age, seniority, state of education, the number of the inspections, the name of the schools they worked at or not have been searched. This study is a descriptive research and screening model has been used. The hub of the study is the official primary schools in Kastamonu Center in 2011-2012 School Year. The data has been gained by the performing the "The Questionnaire on the ideas of Social Science Teachers about the Lesson Inspection" developed by Yıldırım (2007) who is one of the 249 teachers working at different schools at Kastamonu Center. The gained data has been analysed by the SPSS 15.0 packaged software programme. Frequency, per cent, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-testing with parametric analysis, one way analysis of variance test (ANOVA) to get the data have been used. The following results have been obtained; Most of the answers of the classroom teachers are "I partially agree". There has been a significant difference in terms of "sex" in the teachers' ideas for the application of inspection but there are not any differences in terms of age, seniority, state of education, the number of the inspections, the name of the schools they worked at. The answers of the classroom teachers are mostly "I partially agree" for the counselling and vocational assistance. There are not any differences in terms of sex, age, seniority, state of education, the number of the inspections, the name of the schools they worked at from the point of the counselling and vocational assistance. Most of the answers of the classroom teachers are "I partially agree" for the behaviours of the city educational inspectors . There are not any differences in terms of sex, age, seniority, state of education, the number of the inspections, the name of the schools they worked at from the point of the behaviours of the city educational counsellors.
