Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to determine the expectations and perception of managers and teachers in relations between themselves. The most important role is up to the managers and teachers in this process.This relationship is very important because it affects the conduct of school directly.Field research technic has been used in this research. Questionnaire has been prepared as data collection instrument. These questionnaires have been applied to the teachers working at primary schools in Umraniye, Uskudar, Kadıköy, Kartal and Maltepe using the method of random sample.The information being collected by means of questionnaires has been analyzed statistically using Windows SPSS 15.0 programme. Charts have been prepared and interpreted for data obtained.The personal information belonging to the teachers participating in this research has been analyzed by the method of frequency and percentage. T test and one way analysis of variance have been applied in order to determine whether there have been meaningful differences or not between the teacher?s opinions and managers? opinions. The data obtained have been discussed and some solutions have been proposed.
