Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study, is to identify the errors and misconceptions of the Elemantary Mathematics Teacher Candidates' Related to the sequences and series. A total of 97 students in the in the Department of Elemantary Mathematics Teacher in the Faculty of Education at a university in the East of turkey enrolled this study. Five open-ended questions were asked to the 97 students in the study. The answers investigated by the scale consisted the following title: Completely True, True, Misconception, No Answer, False. The comparison has been given by gender. It is found that the students have a lot of misconception in some questions. Also; it is found that in some questions the female students and in some questions the male students have been more succesful. Some various suggestions has been given based on the obtained results.
