Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the activities carried out by pre-service teachers with the help of GeoGebra after teaching geometry supported by GeoGebra with methods in accordance with TPAB standards within the framework of geometric task analysis. The participants of this study, which was conducted by adopting a case study from qualitative research methods, consisted of first-year students at a state university. While 72 students participated in the course activities of the study, 4 volunteer students were used in the data collection process. 10 GeoGebra geometry activities prepared by the researcher and an expert mathematics educator were used as data collection tools. After the 12-week course teaching process, the pre-service teachers were given the necessary and sufficient time to carry out the GeoGebra activities presented. In the data analysis, the video-recorded GeoGebra activities of the pre-service teachers and the question solutions they wrote on paper were used. The prepared GeoGebra activities were examined according to the geometric task analysis framework developed by Trocki and Hollebrands (2018). In the light of the findings, it was seen that the pre-service teachers could both reach the desired level of depth mathematically and perform the types of actions determined technologically. According to the research results, it can be said that teaching geometry supported by GeoGebra with methods in accordance with TPAB standards makes positive contributions to learners in terms of mathematical depth and technological action types. In addition, opinion forms were applied to the four prospective teachers and it was revealed from the opinion forms that the prospective teachers adopted the GeoGebra software, that this software contributed to geometry learning and that they considered using it in their teaching lives. Within the scope of the study, it is recommended that the use of GeoGebra software be given more space in mathematics and geometry learning environments.
