Abstract (EN)

This research had been realized in order to find out whether there is a relationship between job satisfaction and exhaustion levels of primary school inspectors. To attain this objective, a questionnaire consisting three parts was prepared. The questionnaire was applied to 149 primary school inspectors. First 7 questions of the first part of the questionnaire were asked to determine the demographical and professional characteristics of the participants. In the second part, it was tried to measure the exhaustion level of the participant primary school inspectors by using Maslach Exhaustion Scale. In the scale, exhaustion is evaluated in three dimensions that are emotional exhaustion, insensitivity and personal success. In the last part of the questionnaire it was tried to determine the job satisfaction level of the participant primary school inspectors by using the Minnesota Job-Satisfaction Scale. The endogenous and exogenous dimensions that are examined in the scale were taken in the content of the research.The data gathered from the results of the questionnaires was analysed by SPSS 15 for Windows and presented in table forms.In the result of the study, it was put out that there exists a significant difference among emotional exhaustion level with weekly work time and efficiency level, insensitivity level with weekly work time, personal success level with weekly work time and efficiency level, internal satisfaction with weekly work time and efficiency level, external satisfaction with professional seniority, work time and efficiency level. There determined a reasonable level of interdependence between following criteria; sub-dimensional scores of primary school inspectors´ exhaustion scale with internal satisfaction, sub-dimensional scores of exhaustion scale with external satisfaction, sub-dimensional scores of exhaustion scale with total job satisfaction scores.Various suggestions are derived from research results. It is expected that the research findings will contribute and lead new studies on this area.
