The analysis of the school songs taught in the music textbooks in terms of their musical targets in primary school music education programme in 2007-2008 academic year

This research aims to investigate the school songs which were prepared parallel to the 2006 Music Education Programme that started to take place in the music lesson books of 2007-2008 educational period.In this research, 218 school songs which took place in the books of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th classes were loaded into the windows excel programme and formed a database and the songs were analyzed according to their musical targets by the elimination method called "=eğersay" by means of the datas that were reached, tables and graphics were prepared and comments were made.Also this research is a general evolution of the 2006 music lesson books.In this research there had been some advices about improving the contents of the lesson books and using them more effective.
