Abstract (EN)
In general, the concept of burn out directly related with the individual's expectations about his/her life and profession. Nowadays, the concept of burn out, cause drawing away his/ her profession aims, showing negative attidutes to people served, becoming unconcerned to this people and drawing away himself/herself from their profession as a result of dissatisfaction and excessive stress. There are some studies done about burn out syndrome which is thought as a one of the biggest issue of our time. Cause and effect facts are tried to be explained. It is known that the level of burnt out is high on professions and occupational groups which have mutual interaction. In this sense, teaching profession is thought to have a higher perception of burnt out among the other occupational groups. Adverse environmental conditions, disreputative discourses about teaching profession, emotional and psychological transitions led to detection of burn out by taking under influence of individual. It is a must for individuals to adapt themselves to innovations, who lives in such an era that information technologies develop so rapidly. For this reason, individuals must interact with the other instutions which build community. In this intense pace of work individuals may feel burned out. Cynicism is a wide dimensional concept which contains thoughts and beliefs of oriented organization as well as strong emotional reactions such as contemptation and anger that does not contain an impartial judiciary. On cynic attidutes of people who feels connected to the organization themselves, there are strong discourses targeting to the organization. Individual's negative attidutes ,developed against his/her organization, which containscognitive, emotional, behavioral dimensions are called organizational cynicism. Teacher's negative perception and attidutes toward school is barrier to effective processing of school. Teacher's negative behaviors which contains organizational cynicism cause not only separation of organization also discordance of organization so individual may feel burned out. In this regard, the term of organizational cynicism and burn out concept are not far away from each other. In this study, with paying attention to the importance of subject, primary school teacher's burn out level is analyzed according to various variables such as school type, gender, age , marital status, working year, weekly course hours, the city where teacher work. Teacher's burn out level and sense of cynicism are identied and according to this results appropriate solutions are tried to develop.
