Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to point out the job satisfaction of science teachers in primary educations. The personel properties and job satisfactions of two hundred and four science teachers in Istanbul in 2009-2010 academic year, are identified. Form of the Teacher?s Personal Properties and Minnesota Work Satisfaction Questionnary Scale (MSQ) are used for collecting data. For the variables gender, age, marital status, having children, number of children, years in service, number of schools she/he worked in, working as a manager, university graduation branch, having an extra job which makes income, sort of extra job, extra income no significant difference is found in job satisfaction scale general and sub-factor points. There is a significant difference in job satisfaction scale general and sub-factor points for the variables taking classes except science, existence of another teacher in the family, status and the kind of school, having a car, paying rent for the house, having in service training, having a master degree, and advicing to became science teacher to others.
