Abstract (EN)
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationships between primary schools? teachers? learned resourcefulness and job satisfaction.The sample of the study consisted of 325 volunteered primary school teachers in Kartal in Istanbul. The data was gathered by administering two instruments, namely Job Satisfaction Inventory (JSI) and Rosenbaum?s Self-Control Schedule (SCS).The results of the study could be summarized as below:There is a positive relationship between teachers? learned resourcefulness and job satisfaction.Teachers? learned resourcefulness entirely differentiates according to the time they worked recent school, seniority, the number of schools they worked, the school they graduated and the education they attended when they work; partly differentiates by the effects of gender and marital status; but does not differentiate according to the age, branch, having his/her own house and the place where they lived more.By the help of these results it can be said that, teachers? learned resourcefulness changes according to job status, but does not change according to personal features.
