Opinions of the primary education teachers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades who work at primary school about the curriculum of the year 2005

In this research, ıt is purposed to determine the relation between the opinions of the teachersof 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th classes, about the curriculum of the year 2005.The universe of the research is consisted of 40395 class teacher who work in İstanbul. Thesample of the research is composed of 386 teachers who work in 8 countries that aredetermined through the sampling method in the universe.The survey method has been used in this study-Data was gathered through a 94-questionquestionnaire which was developed by Doç. Dr. Seval Fer, Serkan Demir, İlker Cırık andAbdülkadir İnan. Factor analysis, validity and reliability of the survey has been done andSPSS Statistic program ( Statistical package for social sciences ) was used for single varianceanalysis.According to the findings of this study, it is found that opinions of the teachers of 1st, 2nd,3rd, 4th and 5th classes related to the preparation, in the curriculum of the year 2005 are at thesame direction. On the other hand, it is found that these teachers? opinions related to the aimsand objectives, subjects, learning process, monitoring and evaluating are different.According to the results of the study, it is essential that in-service trainings about thecurriculum of the year 2005 should be done, neccessary attempts for participating thesetrainings should be made, gathering of the teachers in the same branch should be effective andmore than before, also attempts for interaction and sharing between other class teachersshould be made.
