Measuring and evaluation performance of the teachers working in state school

The aims of this study are measuring academic success of the teachers working in primary schools throughout the academic year by measurement forms which are designated by multiple data sources related to education in the school, bringing up study about evaluation which are done by managers of the school and determining points of the teachers about this matter. In the first section of the study, in general the concepts related to performance evaluation are included. In the second section process of measurement and evaluation of performance are included. Measurement and evaluation of the performance in the primary school are done by multiple data sources in respect of 360 degree evaluation method. In this measurement inspector, principle, teacher? professional colleague, students of the teacher and the parents of the students are included. Measurement is done by one of the evaluation methods. These methods are diagram degree method, comparison method, checking list method, critique occurrence method, obligatory selection method, onsite examination and observation scale based on behaviors. The teacher must be informed about the results of the evaluation with a study which will be planned beforehand. These results are used to reward the teacher with promotion in the case that the teacher?s performance is positive. The teachers whose performances are bad have to go to in service training. In the third section the problems being come across during the measurement and evaluation are included. We can call these mistakes which are caused by people as single criterion, tolerance, stability, not being objective, average tendency, prejudice, and circle effect. The mistakes which are caused by measurement tools are called mistakes of the tools. The last section includes the data of public survey which are applied about performance evaluation. When the study of performance measurement and evaluation which are planned to be applied in the primary school are done by multiple data sources it will help to raise education level raising the quality and output.
