The influence of school and family on sportsman students in elemantary education in their doing sport.(sample of Sakarya)

Sport which is started from childhood has got a big importance for taking good habits and getting good relationsships both between individuals and society for the adults who will have responsibility in the society. Directing students towards sports activities is really important for appropriating good habits. Sport?s and Sportman?s reaching a good location in society firstly connects to a vast researching in sport and eliminating the factors which affect the success in negative ways. Affecting child?s sports and personality developing in basic education period or zero affecting designate his success?s borders in the future. From sociologic view,first family then school are important institutions for providing sport success. ?Do social-economic level,education level of the family ,existing a sportman in the family and attitude of the family towards sport affect child's doing sport? ? Do type of the school,sport oppurtunities of the school and attitude of the school towards sport affect child's doing sport? The aim of the study is determining the affects of school and family for sportman students in elementary education in their doing sport. Girl ? Boy athlete students who still do different sports activities in their elementary education ( 4th, 5th, 6th,7th,8th grades ) constitude the group of resarch. A poll has been carried out for the purpose of getting datum by using survey model in research. Five hundred students answered the survey which has got 20 questions. SPSS 15.0 ( Statisticial Packet for the Social Science ) has been used for statictics solution. It has been determined that education and income level of family , existence a sportsman in family and attitude of family towards sport affect child's doing sport especially family's interest to sport affects positevely students' sports activities. In addition to these, Physical education activities in elemantary education, application of activities, sports environment of students and interest level to the sportman students give a direction to their sport interest.
