Organizational learning obstacles in primary schools

The purpose of the study is to determine the opinions of teachers working in public primary schools on organizational learning obstacles. In order to reach this conclusion it is tried to find an answer to such questions like; what are the organizational learning obstacles, is there any significant difference between the opinions of teachers in terms of various demographical variants.The study is a descriptive work in survey model. The 422 teachers who are employed in public primary schools in Ahmetli, Akhisar, Salihli and Turgutlu districts of Manisa constitute the sampling of the study. Organizational learning obstacles scale has been developed as the measuring tool by the researcher in order to determine the organizational learning obstacles. "Personal Information" takes place in the first section of data collection tool used in the study while "Organizational Learning Obstacles Scale" is at its second section.As sex, branch and graduated school variants of the study are in two categories, "t" test has been used for the testing of the significance of difference between the averages related to such independent variants and one way ANOVA test has been used in professional seniority and age variants as there are more than two groups in such variants.In study findings, while no difference is seen at .05 significance level between the perceptions of teachers who work in public primary schools regarding organizational learning obstacles according to independents variants like sex, branch and service term, there is a difference at .05 significance level in terms of graduated school, professional seniority and age variants.According to the result of the study the conditions at schools should be improved in order for the removal of the subjects that obstruct teachers' learning.Keywords: Learning, learning organization, organizational learning, organizational learning obstacles
