The competence of administrators in setting teams and managing them of primary schools(the case of Sakarya province)

In this study, it is aimed to find out the competences of administrators in setting teams and managing them at primary schools. Opinions of teachers and administrators about the situation of taking advantage ot team working of administrators in primary schools, solving tfe current problems, setting the right team in order to achieve the goals that are aimed and the compedence of administrators in showing administration that mill support team to achieve the goals are tried to be found out. Moreover , it is tried to be determined the differences between the opinions of the teachers working in private schools and state schools mentioned on the subjects of this study. As this study is a survey model study, the relevant literature is scanned and then the data is collected through quinted scale developed by the researcher. The sapmple of the research consists of 288 teachers and 78 administrators working at primary schools in the centre of Sakarya. Completed questionnaire forms on hand are analyzed statically through SPSS 11.0 package programme. In analyzing the data, frequency distribution (f) of sub ? problems and percentage (%) comparison is done by using t test in separate groups. Results are evaluated on this respect. At the end of the study, it is seen that in primary schools the opinions of administrators about the compentences in setting teams and managing them are more positive than those of teachers. Also, it is discovered that teachers and administrators working in private schools are more successful in setting teams and managing them compared to those working in state schools. t is hoped that the data collected in the study will contribute to the compentences of administrators in setting teams and managing them, and will help to solve the problems in this pattern.
