Achievement level to cognitive field target behaviours in grammar knowledge of student from 5 th class of first stage of primary schools

ABSTRACT The problem statement of this research is to determine whether the students, who completed second period of first level of primary education, achieved cognitive field target behaviours of Turkish grammar or not, and to propose solutions. This research was planned and conducted to determine the influences of family structure and types of schools on achievement to targeted behaviour of the fifth class students of 1st level of primary education on Turkish grammar lessons' cognitive field, knowledge and implementation level. Literature was investigated, related sources were examined, and questionnaire and knowledge test of BEYDO?AN were used. Questionnaire and grammar test was conducted to totally 321 students from 12 primary school in Çanakkale province. The frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and chi-square statistics of the data collected from sample students were explanatory tabulated. Analyses were done by SPSS statistical program and x=0.5 level was considered as a base for meaningful test.
