In this study, that is called The Relation Between Primary Schools? Effectiveness Level and Organizational Health, it?s tried to determine the relation between primary schools? effectiveness level and organizational health.The study was modelled as a survey search. The population of the study consists of 369 primary school administrators and 3980 teachers working in state primary schools in the center of Antalya in 2008-2009 educational years. The data gathered from 88 administrator questionnaires and 338 teacher questionnaires was evaluated in the study. As a data gathering medium Balcı (2007)?s Effective School Questionnaire and Akbaba (1997)?s Organizational Health Questionnaire are used. The questionnaire consists of three parts; the items are related with personel information in the first part, effectiveness in the second part and organizational health in the third part. Effective School Questionnaire?s reliability is (Cronbach?s Alpha) ,77 and Organizational Health Questionnaire?s reliability is ,81In the survey likert type grading scale is used. An alpha level of ,05 was set for all the analyses. Specific descriptive analyses which were conducted to calculate the data included percentage, frequency, means, standard deviation, t-test and oneway ANOVA for unrelated sampling, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis. In case the assumptions of parametric tests were not satisfied, Mann Whitney U test and Dunnet?s C test were used.About the level of primary schools? effectiveness, although both teachers? and principals? ideas are higher for the dimensions of school atmosphere, school principal, teachers and students; for the parents dimension principal ideas are higher and teachers? ideas are less. In addition to this, at all dimensions of the effective school principals? and teachers? ideas vary for the principals. In another words principals find school more effective than teachers find.Both teachers? and principals? ideas about primary schools? organizational health levels are higher on the dimensions of organisational leadership, environmental interaction, organisational identity, organisational integrity and organisational product in addition there is a meaningful variation for the principals. In another words principals find their schools organisational health level higher compared to teachers? ideas.Finally, the results of multiple regression analysis gathered from both administrators? and teachers? views show that effectiveness is a significant variable indefining the organizational health.
