Relationship between quality of work life and work alienation in primary school teachers

The study undertaken during the 2010-2011 educational year in the primary schools that are subsidiaries of the Ministry of Education in the province of Bolu aims to determine whether the perceptions of primary school teachers regarding the quality of work life and work alienation levels change according to variables such as gender, age, marital status, seniority and seniority levels in their respective schools and to identify whether a relationship exists among these variables. The universe of the study was formed of primary school teachers working in Bolu province and its districts during the 2010-2011 educational year and the sample of the study consisted of 450 teachers selected through random sampling method from a total of 46 primary schools, half of which are from the city center and the other half form the districts. ?Personal Information Form?, ?Quality of Work Life Scale? and ?Work Alienation Scale? were used as data collection tools in the study.
