Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the study is to reveal the relationship between perceptions of psychological capital and proactive behavior levels of the teachers in the primary schools. In the study, 6-point Likert type "Psychological Capital Scale adapted to Turkish by Çetin and Basim (2012) and 5-point Likert type Proactive Behavior Scale adapted to Turkish by Cerit and Akgün(2015). A data collection tool consisting of three parts was used in the study. In the first part, personal information of the participants was given. The research model is a descriptive study based on relational survey model. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage, frequency, the Mann Whitney U test, the Kruksal Wallis H test, and the Spearman order difference correlation techniques were used in the analysis of the data. In the results obtained from the analysis,it was found that there is a positive statistically significant relationships between optimism and proactive behavior, psychological endurance and proactive behavior, hope and proactive behavior, self-efficacy and proactive behavior which are sub-dimensions of teachers perceptions of psychological capital. Statistically significant difference between the sub-dimensions of perceptions of psychological capital, optimism and psychological durability and proactive behavior levels could not be found.
