The opinions of primary school teachers about the application of total quality management

The objective of this research is to reveal the opinions of teachers relating to the application of TQM (Total Quality Management) in elementary and middle schools.The research population includes 9306 teachers from 113 different elementary or middle schools from Muratpasa, Kepez, Konyaalti districts of Antalya province in Turkey, in 2011-2012 season. The research sample population includes 19 teachers per school from 34 selected schools. TQM could not provide the expected benefit for the education system. TQM was not applied in the elementary and middle schools effectively, yet it is demonstrated as if it was applied.
