Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in order to compare the physical activity levels of teachers in different fields.The research was carried out on teachers of different fields teaching in Erzurum state schools. A total of 780 teachers, 462 male and 318 female, make up the example pool.In the study, Bouchard?s FAD recording survey was used as a data collector. Body Mass Index, daily calorie consumption and basal metabolism ratios were found according to survey results.The demographic distribution of volunteers was found by the indepent pool t- test analysis was applied to test whether the gender, marital status, and physical activity attendance of volunteers have, statistically, a significant difference. In the study, the confidence level was accepted as 0.05In the study, significant differences between BMI values based on gender, age, and marital status were found. As age increases, the BMI ratio increases. A significant difference was noted when the basal metabolism results were compared with gender. The average of the male teachers was found to be higher than that of the female teachers. According to total calorie consumption, a significant difference was noted in energy consumption between age groups and gender.
