Elementary and middle scholl music teextbook examination in terms of the musical elements of the songs (1996-2016)

The aim of this research was to compare the characteristics of the school songs in the music textbooks that were in effect at the time of the preparation, to compare the compatibility between the general development levels of the children and the characteristics of the school songs and to point out important points about the content about the school songs between the 5th and 8th grade of elementary school it is thought to be important in direction. The research is also a general evaluation of books taught in the second academic year between 1996-1997 academic year and 2015-2016 academic year. As a result of research; tonal structures, tone names, makams structures and makams names, examole of rhythm, according to the determined subjecet. The school songs in the textbooks reached during the mentioned years were processed according to the sub-problems determined by the SPSS 23 package program. The results of the process were transformed and interpreted in the Excel program and the cross tablings made in SPSS 23 package program were transferred and interpreted on Word. As a result of the study, the solutions of the contests of textbooks and the application og these contents have been proposed. Key Words: Music, Music Edication, School Song, Program, Music Program
