Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there were any differences between anger levels and anger expressions according to subscale score of friend relationships scale and sex in the eighth grade students.The sampling of this study is consisted of eighth grade students who were between the ages of 13-16 (n=494). In the study, in order to investigate students? anger levels and anger expressions, ?State-Trait Anger Scale? (STAS) and to investigate adolescents? friend relationships, ?Friend Relationships Scale? were utilized.After composing groups that got low, middle, and high scores from each subscale of friend relationships, it was found that the results of the 3(low-middle-high)X2 (sex) ANOVA employed to the subscale scores of trait anger and anger expressions of students had significant basic effects of sex on confidence, and self disclosure, basic effects of group on loyalty, self-disclosure and obedience. When ANOVA?s results were analyzed, it was found that basic effects of loyalty and obedience and mutual effects of loyalty and sex were significant. However, students? anger-in differed according to basic effects of loyalty, confidence, self-disclosure and obedience, and mutual effects of obedience and sex. When results were analyzed in terms of anger control score, it was reported that basic effects of loyalty-obedience, sex-group and mutual effects of obedience-sex were significant level.Keywords: anger, anger expression, adolescence, friend relationship.
