Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out in 1st class primary school students to determine prevalence of enuresis and related factors. The research work formed the universe 2014-2015 academic year, the mother of total 3895 first-class primary school students studying in Aydin Province. G power program with effect size 0.25; the significance level (α) 0.05; when calculated as 80% of power acceptable sample size 269; Given the impact of the 1.5 design targeted to reach 404 student mother has reached 425 people surveyed. There are a total of 55 primary schools surveyed in the province. The sample was selected in a random drawing to determine the stage from four elementary school and the survey was completed in the 2014-2015 academic year. Before the application is received permission ethics committee, parent consent forms written permission and institutions. Data collection has been used as a tool developed by researchers in the literature according to "Questionnaire" and " Family Knowledge Form and Parent Attitude Research Instrument (PARI)". The obtained data were evaluated at the SSPS package (Version 21 o'clock, ChicagoIl, USA). Data were used for the evaluation of descriptive statistical analyzes (Mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage), in comparison with normal distribution t test and One Way ANOVA; comparison of non-normal distribution Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis H test, the comparison of ordinal data Pearson Correlation analysis. Students were 54,1% (n = 230) were female, 45,9% (n = 195) were men and the mean age was 6,80 ± 0,48.Students of social security that were 82,8% (n = 352). According to the results of the analyzes; no significant difference was found between the number of siblings with enuresis (himself included), siblings born last year, family type, the presence of the mother-child relationship problems, to physical violence by her case, restrictions on children's activities, enuresis story of mother and father, husband and wife incompatibility. When all the results are evaluated in general, mental behavior disorders in childhood which can create contribution in reducing Primary enuresis increase in 1st year students of similar research, support, training and counseling provision.
