Abstract (EN)
In this study, visual perception and memory levels of elementary school fourth graders were determined and evaluated in terms of various variables (gender, pre-school education). At the same time, fourth graders 'typos were examined and error distributions were interpreted according to the students' visual perception levels. The study group consisted of 106 fourth year students who studied in primary schools in the 2018-2019 academic year in the Kepez district center of Antalya province Directorate of National Education. In this study, the level of visual perception of fourth graders was determined by the "Benton visual Retention test". " Benton visual Retention test " is a test developed by Benton in 1974 and applied in our country. Student identification form was used for personal information about students and "spelling errors review inventory" was developed and pre-applied by the researcher during the 2018-2019 education period to examine spelling errors. The data is encoded in accordance with the SPSS 22.0 statistical program.
