In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of creative writing practices carried out in the fourth grade Turkish lesson in primary school on students' attitude towards Turkish lesson, writing attitude and creative writing. The research was carried out according to the experimental design with pre-test-post-test control group. The research was conducted in the Sorgun district of Yozgat province, Şehit Önder Muratoğlu Primary School and the Milli Egemenlik Primary School in the 2018-2019 academic year. 40 students in the experimental group and 80 students in the control group were carried out with a total of 80 students. Creative writing activities were used in the experimental process. Creative writing activities were held in the experimental group. The activities were carried out for a total of 20 hours for 10 weeks, two hours a week. In the control group, the Turkish program and related writing studies were applied. In the research, writing attitude scale, Turkish lesson attitude scale and evaluation criteria form for creative writing were used as data collection tool. T-test, standard deviation, and arithmetic mean were used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, the following results were reached: * As a result of the t-test for independent groups, it was determined that the post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group Turkish course attitude scale differed significantly. It has been determined that creative writing practices applied in Turkish lessons cause a significant increase in students' attitude towards Turkish lessons (p<0.05). * As a result of the t test for independent groups, it was determined that the post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group differ significantly from each other. It was concluded that creative writing practices applied in Turkish lessons caused a significant increase in students' writing attitudes (p<0.05). * Creative writing posttest scores of the experimental group students differ significantly from the creative writing posttest scores of the control group students. It was concluded that creative writing practices applied in Turkish lessons caused a significant increase in students' creative writing (p<0.05).
