Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to reveal how students' environmental responsible behaviors can be developed through ecological art activities based on visual culture studies with family participation in primary school Visual Arts class. In the study, which was carried out according to the action research design, criterion sampling, one of the purposive sampling methods, was used to determine the participants. The teaching process of the study was carried out with 13 fourth-grade primary school students who had problems in environmentally responsible behaviors in the Visual Arts course. However, as a result of the problems in the participation of some students and parents in the observation process, the number of focus students was determined as 7 students, 2 boys and 5 girls, and the data obtained from the focus students were used extensively in the presentation of the findings. 4 action plans consisting of 10 lesson plans were prepared within the framework of ecological art activities based on visual culture studies with family participation in order to teach students responsible behavior towards the environment. The data of the study were obtained with data collection tools such as personal information form, observation, student diaries, researcher diary, video recordings and photographs of activities, semi-structured interviews, student products, validation committee audio recordings, behavior observation forms, questionnaire and Environmental Responsible Behavior Scale. Percentage, frequency and "Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test for Related Samples" were used for the quantitative data and content analysis was used in the analysis of qualitative data. According to the findings, it was concluded that ecological art activities based on visual culture studies with family participation contributed to the development of environmental responsible behavior and that the problems experienced were resolved.
