Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationships between the leadership levels and intelligence levels and demographic variables of primary school students were investigated. The study was carried out with 139 students in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade in a primary school in Eskişehir. The students' intelligence levels were determined by Anadolu-Sak Intelligence Scale (ASIS); leadership levels were determined by the Roets Leadership Assessment Scale (RRLS) and the Roets Leadership Assessment Scale-Teacher Form (RRLS-TF); demographic information was determined by Personal Information Form. According to the findings of the research; As a result of Pearson Correlation Analysis, positive and significant relationships were found between leadership level and general intelligence and all sub-components; it was also found that the highest relationship was between leadership and crystallized intelligence. As a result of independent sample t test, it was seen that the leadership levels (in favor of the group above normal) of the students with normal and above-normal intelligence level differed significantly. In addition, independent sample t test revealed that ASIS distinguishes students with low and high leadership levels. According to the other findings of the study, the leadership levels of primary school students; gender, number of siblings, birth order and mother education level do not differ according to the variables. On the other hand, there were differences in leadership levels according to the variables of class level, father education level, income level and participation in extracurricular community activities.
