This research, which is about the relationship between the perceptions of instructional leadership of primary school administrators and their use of time, was applied to the principal and assistant principals working at the primary school level of state schools in the provinces of Şişli and Beyoğlu in the province of Istanbul in 2017-2018 academic year. The study group of the research consists of 73 primary school administrators, 32 managers 41 assistant managers. The data of the study was collected through the questionnaire containing the demographic information, the "Instructional Leadership Perception Scale" and "Time Usage Scale".The research was analyzed by descriptive quantitative method and the data obtained in the study were analyzed using SPSS (Static Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 22.0 program.Number, percentage, mean, standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods in the evaluation of the data. The t-test was used to compare quantitive continuous data between two indepedent groups. One way ANOVA test was used to compare quantitive continuous data among more than two independent groups.The Scheffe test was used as a complementary post-hoc analysis to determine the differences after the Anova test. When the main results of the research are looked, it is seen that the average of the instructional leadership perception scale of the elementary school administrators is high. It can be said that the level of instructional leadership behaviors of the elementary school administrators is very high. Perceptions about the level of instructional leadership behaviors of the elementary school administrators do not differ and do not show a meaninful change according to their teaching seniority, the, weekly working hours, managerial seniority. But perceptions about the level of instructional leadership behaviors of the elementary school administrators differ according to the type / level of the school they were working as teachers before. When the time levels of administrators' time use scale sub-dimensions are examined, it was found that they spend time on parents, district (mem), school, students, teachers, office and personal affairs respectively. Time usage behaviors of the elementary school aministrators do not differ according to their teaching seniority, managerial seniority, and weekly working hours. However, the difference was found to be significant according to the type / level of the school where the school aministrators worked as teachers before.
