Abstract (EN)
Supplier Capability Analysis which is a part of supplier selection is a process to determine supplier attributes that firm can work together and to approve or not these candidates depending upon providing these attributes. Manufacturing firms became more dependent on suppliers, supplier capability analysis and selection process becomes more important. This process is getting more complex because of globalization. In Section 3, Supplier Capability Analysis/Selection criteria and methods explained based on literature. As a result of research, three basic shortages founded out about the technics: First, not being accurately objective; second, not being applied to real work life especially under the cases where numerical data can not be determined explicitly; And third, not reflecting exactly the flexibility of work life. In this thesis, to eliminate the deficiencies in literature, a decision support system using fuzzy logic in supplier determination has been developed. In Section 4, Fundamental information related to the fuzzy logic?s explicit and vague data process power and how to implemented it in databases has been explained. In section 5, In the decision support system which is being developed, appropriateness of the using fuzzy logic has been pointed out. And system analysis and design have been outlined. In section 6, the implemented system has been presented with sample data.At the last section, obtained results have been compared to other methods? and some improvement proposals have been offered.
