"Student attitudes in hafizship project with formal education in imam-hatip secondary schools" (Sample: Sivas Zeki Hayran imam-hatip secondary school)

Ih this study, within the scope of Hafizship Project with Formal Education in Imam-Hatip Secondary Schools supported by Ministry of National Education, the thoughts of students who participated in the project about memory process and aftermath are discussed. The research was carried out with a questionnaire applied to 320 students in Sivas Zeki Hayran İmam Hatip Secondary School. Ih the research, a questionnaire -one of the quantitative research methods- was applied. Afterwards, the subject was tried to be supported by qualitative research. The factors influencing the success of the students during the hafizship, tehir thoughts and tehir subsequent goals were determined. Findings obtained from the variables were shown as a table and analyzed. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research; that the students came to this school with the wishes of the families and tehir own wishes. It was also found out that the attitudes of the parents were important in the hafizship stage of the students during the education and that the teachers behaved softly and sincerely. It is seen that the students will continue to Imam-Hatip High Schools after graduating from this school but they want to work in other fields rather than religious fields.
