Abstract (EN)

In the Islamic world, every sect and faction that emerged has generally sought to interpret the Qur'an, Sunnah, and historical events in accordance with the principles of their respective schools of thought. It is natural for the authors of Shia Imamiyyah works to reflect their own thoughts and ideologies in their writings. However, the specific interpretations and narratives regarding Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad, have not been fully elucidated in these sources. Therefore, this study aims to examine the information, interpretations, and narratives about Aisha found in Shia Imamiyyah sources. The first section will focus on Aisha's activities during the time of Prophet Muhammad according to Shia beliefs. It will explore Aisha's warnings from Prophet Muhammad regarding the imamate and caliphate of Ali, as well as the Shia authors' approach to the incident of "ifk" and its reflection in the foundational Shia sources. The second section will delve into Aisha's life and political activities in the period following Prophet Muhammad's demise, again from the perspective of Shia beliefs. The claims that Aisha conspired with her father and Umar to usurp the caliphate that rightfully belonged to Ali will be examined. Furthermore, Aisha's political activities during the reign of Uthman and her role during the Battle of the Camel and the Battle of Siffin will be presented from a Shia perspective. Throughout this study, the interpretations and narratives of Shia scholars regarding Aisha will be examined in a chronological and systematic manner, spanning from her birth to her passing. It has been noted that certain ideas within Shia history have been forgotten, while others have endured with even greater intensity up to the present day. The assessments made on each topic will be shared in their respective contexts and presented coherently as a whole.
