Avrupa Birliği hukukunda terörle mücadele önlemlerinin gölgesinde göçmenler

European Union (EU) has adopted a common migration policy since the 1990s and has put terrorism on the top of its agenda since 2000 considering the importance of maintaining community security. Implementation of the same policy in EU for these two different phenomena results in using the same methods to solve the problems related to them. Considering that the prevention of terrorism has been on the agenda since 11 September, anti-terrorist measures taken in the EU such as the profiling and interoperability of different databases to find those who can commit acts of terrorism support the American prejudice against Muslims and Arabs. This situation is likely to challenge the principle of non-discrimination and the right to privacy of these persons.
