Abstract (EN)
While the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on decision-making has been explored in various sectors, there remains a limited understanding of its combined influence with social innovation (SI) on administrative decisions, particularly within the context of developing economies. Furthermore, the specific application of this combined influence in the telecommunications sector, a critical industry in the digital age, remains under-researched. This study aims to address this gap by investigating the impact of AI and SI on administrative decision-making in Jordanian telecommunications companies. Specifically, it examines whether social innovation and artificial intelligence are useful tools in administrative decision-making in the telecommunication sector of Umniah, Orange, and Zain, three major communication companies in Jordan. The research was conducted with a survey application using a five-point Likert scale with the participation of 319 managers in three different telecom companies in Jordan. The reliability of the instrument in this was documented using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α), and the coefficient results showed a value of 0.817, which shows that the reliability rate is appropriate and good. In order to examine the relationship between dependent and independent variables using correlation analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient test (r) was also performed. The results of the research showed that there is a significant and strong relationship between social innovation and artificial intelligence in the management decision-making process in Jordanian telecommunications companies. This research recommends providing companies and their employees with financial and technical support to increase artificial intelligence applications, thus contributing to the strengthening of its role in the structure of these companies.
