This thesis explores the impact of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) awareness initiatives among populations in Northwest Syria, utilizing pre- and post-test survey methodologies to assess the effectiveness of these activities and related factors. Despite the essential role that SRH services play in improving individual well-being and fostering healthier communities, awareness remains critically limited, largely due to socio-cultural constraints and the ongoing conflict in the region. Adopting a quasi-experimental approach, the study administers surveys before and after awareness sessions to evaluate changes in participants' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors toward SRH. The findings demonstrate a significant improvement in participants' understanding of key SRH topics the total score went from 14.00 to 49.00. The interquartile range also expanded considerably, with the post-test scores ranging from 39.00 to 62.00 compared to 11.00 to 19.00 in the pretests. Statistical analysis highlights meaningful progress in health-seeking behaviors and reduced stigma related to SRH issues following the intervention. Furthermore, qualitative insights emphasize the importance of culturally appropriate educational materials and local communities' active involvement in enhancing these programs' impact. This research highlights the critical need for sustained and contextually adapted SRH awareness programs to empower individuals and strengthen public health outcomes in Northwest Syria. It offers practical recommendations for health policymakers and organizations, advocating for expanded outreach efforts and integrating SRH education within broader healthcare strategies.
