Effect of semi-permanent cement on the tensile connection durability of implant-supported monolithic zirconia crowns

Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study; to evaluate of the effect of semi-permanent cement on the tensile bond strength of implant-supported monolithic zirconia crowns. Forty-eight implant analogs were placed in autopolymerizing acrylic resin material using a mold prepared from silicone-based impression material. By taking digital measurements, maxillary 1st premolar teeth were designed for each abutment, and monolithic zirconia crowns were cemented using four different semi-permanent cements. Thermal aging process was applied. The tensile test was applied with a universal testing device and the value at which decementation occurred was recorded. Fracture type was evaluated after decementation. The results were analyzed statistically using one-way analysis of variance and Tamhane multiple comparison test (=0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in bond strength between the cements. The highest bond strength value was found for EsTemp Implant semi-permanent cement, and the tensile bond strength values are, in order from high to low, Dentotemp, GC Fuji Temp LT and Temp-Bond Clear.
