Abstract (EN)

In this study, were used Paracetamol as a model drug. İt is one of the antipyretic and analgesic drugs. It was prepared controlled release tablets and their drug releases were investigated in vitro. Seventeen different formulations were prepared for this purpose. The formulations are based on three variables. Formulations with three different drug contents (25%, 50%, 75%) were created with two different preparation methods (direct compression and wet granulation) using five different polymers (Eudragit ® RSPM, Eudragit ® S100, Eudragit ® L100, Stearic Acid, Ethyl Cellulose). Release experiments were performed in without ultrasound, continuous ultrasound and intermittent ultrasound conditions. Amounts of released drug were measured by spectrophotometric method. In this study, it was determined that ultrasound had a significant effect on drug release and increased the rate of release significantly. It was also found that as the drug content increased and the polymer ratio decreased, the release rate increased. The different polymers used in the formulation changed the release rates. The tablet preparation method had an effect on the release rates. The tablets prepared with wet granulation released drug more slowly.
