In terms of faith music ethnology Arguvan region structured and cultural analysis on "içeri maqam"

In this study, which aims to examine and analyze religious music, which is a musical representation of the collective memory, belief and philosophy of the Arguvan region, culturally and formally, to create scientific resources and to reveal the social and cultural vision of Arguvan religious music, Arguvan musical practices, "ethnology of faith music" has been handled within the framework. In the study, ethnographic research, in which qualitative research methods, and ethno-musicology research methods were used, the field research was carried out by interviewing 38 source people living in Arguvan center and villages and the diaspora, and descriptive analysis was performed. In the first part, the theoretical framework is drawn and information that will serve as a source for the other parts is given, in the second part, the historical, geographical, cultural, ethnic and demographic structure of Arguvan district of Malatya province is examined and information that will be a source for cultural analysis is presented. In the third part, the melodies and lyrics of the 334 folk songs that we identified as "dışarı makamı" in Arguvan were analyzed structurally and culturally and the results were evaluated ethnomusicologically. In the last part of the study, the tradition of religious music in the structural and cultural framework in Arguvan district of Malatya province: "içeri makam" / "dede makamı" is examined. For cultural analysis, belief rituals, types, functions, meanings and playing techniques of Arguvan belief music instruments, cem minstrelsy tradition in Arguvan, musical revival, "diaspora-festival-music" relationship were investigated. 107 works were identified for the structural analysis of the form, mode and methods of the works of Arguvan "içeri makam", 96 samples of notes were found from the written sources. The notes of 10 works were recorded by us and 1 compilation was made. Structural and cultural analyzes were made with these works, which determined the limitations of this section, and the results were obtained. At the end of the study, a dictionary was created and definitions of locally used words were made. In the appendix part, sections of some notes belonging to local music are given.
