Abstract (EN)
In this work, the level of CO2 in the environment is measured by the infrared sensor (NDIR) technology, It is aimed to eliminate education weaknesses caused by respiration in classrooms in educational institutions. Under the ASHRAE standards, when the CO2 level in the environment exceeds a certain limit, symptoms such as sleeping, concentration disorder occur which lowers the quality of the education given. By continuously measuring the CO2 level in the classroom, determining the ventilation criteria according to the measured values, and automatically or manually controlling the ventilation system to these criteria, CO2 in the environment must be vented and clean air intake must be ensured. By means of the Arduino microcontroller platform, CO2 data will be monitored from smartphones the device's screen and Wi-Fi via Android phones and tablets, so that the necessary alert infrastructure will be supported.
