Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the HLA allele and haplotype frequencies of patients and donors whose tissue typing was studied in Malatya İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center Tissue Typing Laboratory in 2020 by Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) method. Material and Method: In order to determine the HLA allele and haplotype frequencies with the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) method, patients and donors consisting of 1081 people whose tissue typing was studied in Malatya İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center Tissue Typing Laboratory in 2020 were included in the study group. Human Leucocyte Antigen allele and haplotype frequencies of individuals were determined by Next Generation Sequencing method. Results: In the study, the most common alleles in HLA*A, HLA*B, HLA*C', HLA*DP, HLA*,DQ, HLA*DRB1 were determined and HLA*A, HLA*B, HLA*C, HLA*DP The haplotype frequencies in the DQB1 and HLA*DRB1 genes were examined. Conclusion: As a result of the study, the three most common alleles in HLA*A are 2402, 0201 and 1101, the three most common alleles in HLA*B are 5101, 3501 and 3503, the three most common alleles in HLA*C are 0401, 0701 and 1203. The three most common alleles in HLA*DP were 0401, 0201 and 0402, the three most common alleles in HLA*DQ were 0301, 0501 and 0201, and the three most common alleles in HLA*DRB1 were 1104, 0301 and 1101. In addition, the haplotype frequency in the HLA*A gene was 0.403, the haplotype frequency in the HLA*B gene was 0.333, the haplotype frequency in the HLA*C gene was 0.409, the haplotype frequency in the HLA*DP gene was 0.705, the haplotype frequency in the HLA*DQB1 gene was 0.469, and the haplotype frequency in the HLA*DRB1 gene was 0.331.
