Work safety culture investigation in the construction sector

The purpose of research; We thought it might be examples of employees, working in the construction sector in Turkey that a construction site located in the province of Şırnak, and in there make a measure about the knowledge and awareness level of 145 construction workers about work safety and health. Method of Research: Within the scope of the project, a face-to-face interview and a survey was conducted with a 145 member worker group on a large-scale construction project site between November and December 2017. The purpose of the questionnaire; to determine whether workers in the construction site have sufficient consciousness in occupational safety and health practices and how much they have experienced in their training. Surveys: the workers sorted based on different business groups and according to that surveys was made. As an example of business groups; group of worker of iron, group of formwork and group of welders. Surveys; It was made face to face. The result of the survey; It has been assessed how workers are conscientious and knowledgeable in relation to occupational safety in their profession.
