A study about familiarization tours within the orientation facilities in human resources management

In history, there are many examples of the efficiency of human workforce but human resources as a scientific approach had started to gain importance since the Industrial Revolution. After the Industrial Revolution qualified personnel has been more required. After the World Wars, companies had started to pay attention to maintain the lifetime of workforce planning and competitive advantages in human resources because this concept transformed into a strategic asset. One of these techniques, familiarization trip, providing information to the employees about the company's activity fields and their techical properties, employee benefits. Aimed at the employees of Ataturk Airport, the purpose of this mission is to investigate the impressions on the participants left by the event of Familiarization Trip of the New Istanbul Airport, taking place between June 25th and September 28th, 2018. In this concept, the interview work has done deeply with the Ataturk Airport personnel who participated in a familiarization trip. According to results, the familiarization trip event effect participants' opinions about field observed positively.
