The new education methods used in human resources and Yildiz Technical University case

The most distinctive feature of the 21. century comparing with the other times is to haveglobal, rich in technology and ever-changing competitive conditions. Thus, the organizationshave embarked on requiring infrastructure which keeps up with the change and labor forcelearning to learn.Such requirements have been tried to met bringing up the individuals learning to learn,enabling them to get their education in their proper time and place and enabling them to learnaccording to their information and skill level. These features define new education methodsand e-learning. The fact that e-learning use the technological infrastructure as an instrumentprovides a development parallel with changing pace. However, the works related to e-learningit is not only adequate to supply technology but also to add the efficient points of traditionaleducation methods. Hence, blended learning method combining effective features of both ofthose methods comes up as a model.YTU has chosen blended learning as an e-learning model and with the help of pilot projecthas transferred four subjects to education environment in accordance with blended learningmodel. Such trainings have been given using technological infrastructure such as learningmanagement system, interactive documents and virtual class.In this research, about the model the thoughts of the students who attended to pilot projecthave been evaluated by the surveys. At the end of the research, it is aimed to compose amodel using the data collected from e-learning project at Yıldız Technical University and toguide the occupational groups intending to improve the education using the new educationmethods in the work of the preparing education content.The research consists of theree sections. In the first two sections, literature and theoreticalinformation regarding as the subject have been evaluated. In the third section, the application,results of analysis and recommendations have been presented.
