Abstract (EN)

In this study, the interactions of 5-azacitidine (AZA), the therapeutic agent for the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes and myelogenous leukemias, and tramadol hydrochloride (THC), a synthetic analgesic, drugs with human serum albumin (HSA) and human hemoglobin (HMG) proteins were investigated by fluorescence and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopic methods. It was determined from the emission spectra obtained at 15 °C, 25 °C, 37 °C and 45 °C that whether there was an interaction between protein and drug molecules or not. Thermodynamic parameters were calculated from van?t Hoff equation. In addition, the changes in the secondary structure of proteins were investigated by CD spectroscopy.
