Comparative analysis of the artistic value of human and artificial intelligence artworks of painting and photography in the context of being an object of desire

In the 21st century, with the acceleration of technological developments and the increasing presence of artificial intelligence applications in all areas of life, the use of artificial intelligence tools in the production of artworks has also become a subject of discussion. Studies in the literature have found the prejudice against artworks produced by artificial intelligence. This study comparatively analysed painting and photography artists who are accepted by art critics and investigated the artistic values of their works from the artists' perspective. The findings shed light on the unique characteristics of artificial intelligence artefacts preferred as objects of desire.
